This course is for anyone who may be required to use specialised equipment to provide resuscitation or oxygen therapy in a range of complex situations, including community and workplace settings. This course will provide participants with the skills and knowledge to effectively operate advanced resuscitation equipment such as oxygen and a defibrillator.
Not only suitable for those needing an advanced resuscitation certificate for work, anyone interested in attending an advanced resuscitation class should consider booking into our course.
Our advanced resuscitation and oxygen therapy course includes the content of provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation (HLTAID009) and the use of Defibrillation.
Certification Issued:
On successful completion of the course, students are awarded a statement of attainment in:
- Provide Advanced Resuscitation And Oxygen Therapy HLTAID015
- Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation HLTAID009
Statement of attainments are issued on the day of the course to learners found competent. (Same day certificate)
Entry requirements :
Learners will be required to pass a basic language, literacy and numeracy test before confirmation of enrolment or immediately prior to commencing the training. Learners must also be able to do CPR on the floor, including kneeling down and performing chest compressions.

HLTAID011 Provide First Aid
Course Duration :
This course takes one day (approximately 6 hours) Face to Face delivery only and students are sent pre-reading prior to attendance. This unit of competency is nationally accredited, recognised and workplace accepted. Refresher courses are also available to holders of certificates about to expire.

Theory contents
Our theory covers the legal aspects of First aid, Victim assessment, respiration and circulation, resuscitation, workplace first aid, defibrillation, signs of life, after care, oxygen use, pulse oximeter, advanced resuscitation kits such as bag valve mask, basic airway adjunct, oxygen cylinder and regulator, suction devices, oropharyngeal airway devices etc.

CPR/Resuscitation, micro sessions scenarios, defibrillation, use of advanced resuscitation kits such as bag valve mask, basic airway adjunct, oxygen cylinder and regulator, suction devices, oropharyngeal airway devices in resuscitation etc.
On completion
On successful completion of the course, Students will be issued with a nationally recognised statement of attainment in Provide Advanced Resuscitation And Oxygen Therapy HLTAID015 which is valid for 12 Months and the CPR component is valid for 12 months as well.
