This course includes units (VU23090 Provide First Aid Management of Anaphylaxis and VU23091 Develop risk minimisation and risk management strategies for anaphylaxis). This course provides the skills and knowledge necessary to manage anaphylaxis until the arrival of medical assistance.
Course Duration
This course takes appropriately 2-3 hours depending on class size and learner’s previous knowledge. There is pre-reading prior to attendance.
Certifications Issued
On successful completion of the course, students are issued with a statement of attainment for the nationally accredited course in 22578VIC- Course in First Aid Management of Anaphylaxis. Statement of Attainments are issued on the day of the course to learners found competent (Same Day Certificate)
Entry Requirements
Students will be required to pass a basic language, literacy, and numeracy test before confirmation of enrolment or immediately prior to commencing the training.
